guys I just got a reply from lg's uk facebook page saying that p500 would be updated by July or August.... so something to cheer about..... here the link to the snapshot...

keep your finger crossed as the benchmarks from the optimus one leaked gingerbread rom came about equal to that of Samsung galaxy s on 2.1
